Mystery of the 'pyramid of China' Archaeologists discover strange tomb under a construction site

The coffin chamber was discovered in Zhengzhou, Henan Province. Archaeologists were left scratching their heads after discovering it, along with another cylinder shaped tomb in what they believe is a burial site.

It’s possible that the chamber, stretching 30 metres long and 8 metres across, could hail from Han Dynasty (from 202 BC-220 AD), which is widely regarded as China’s golden age. Who was buried inside the mausoleum, as well as the reason why it was built in the shaped of a pyramid, are also under investigation. Chinese media have dubbed the newly found tomb the 'pyramid of Zhengzhou',
though it's much smaller in size compared to the real pyramids in Egypt (pictured)
