Birishiri is located at Durgapur (Bengali: দূর্গাপুর) which is an upazila of theNetrokona District in the Mymensingh Division ofBangladesh. The magnificent Blue Lake and amazing Golden River Sumeswari is located at Birishiri. There are many things to attract the visitors in Birishiri, Durgapur. But the golden river Sumeswari, Garo hills, Bijoypur ceramic hill are attracting the visitors most. It is worth visiting this place just to have an amazing view of hills from the river bed which is as low as one's knees. The water is crystal clear and one can cross the river on foot in dry season. But during the rainy season the river turns to a mighty one bringing much remains from distant hills.
