Google Forms: How to share a Google Form without editing permission.

Problem: How can you share a Google Form for viewing by the prospective recruiter without granting him editing permission?

Answer: To share a Google Form with a prospective recruiter for viewing only (without giving them editing access), follow these steps:

  1. Open the Google Form: Go to Google Forms and open the form you want to share.

  2. Preview the Form: Click on the "Preview" icon (eye-shaped) at the top right of the form. This will open the form in a new tab as it would appear to respondents.

  3. Copy the URL: From the preview tab, copy the URL from the browser's address bar. This URL allows anyone with the link to view and fill out the form but not edit it.

  4. Share the URL: Send the copied URL to the prospective recruiter via email, messaging app, or any other method you prefer.

By following these steps, the recruiter will be able to view and interact with the form (such as filling it out), but they will not be able to make any changes to the form itself.
